| Profert® and Pasture - Penshurst Western Victoria | | | Demonstration November 2009 | | | | | Outcome | | | Pictures speak louder than words! | | | |
| Background | | | Peter Linke’s farm is located in Penshurst Western Victoria. The trial was on Rye grass and Clover which was cut for hay about 2 weeks prior to taking these photos. | | | Peter sprayed a 40 metre circumference with Profert around a 4 hectare paddock, leaving the centre of the paddock with just the base application of Urea. | | | Peter only did one spray of 2.5Lt. per hectare with 300Lt water. Due to the fact that clover is a sensitive plant we believe that this was too high a rate of application which resulted in the clover going into shock and stunted growth. The worry in Peters mind was will the grass bounce back? | | | | What we recommended | | | 2.5Lt. per hectare with 300L water | | | | Results achieved | | | Well as these pictures show not only has it bounced back but it has clearly surpassed the area that wasn’t sprayed! | | |
