PROFERT Fortified Protein Fertilizer XTEND Plant Oil Adjuvant and CARBO-AID

Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer may be used as a foliar spray for all agricultural, horticultural, floral and ornamental plants and for any soil application to any soil type. It can be applied by standard spray and irrigation equipments.

FOLIAR SPRAY
Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer, when used as recommended, will be absorbed by the leaves very quickly. For optimum results, add andmix 5 ml profert, 1 ml Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant and 10 ml Carbo-Aid per litre of water. It is also important to spray the underside of the leaves to achieve best results. The following is a guide for use in conjunction with your existing management, i.e. fertilizer and pesticide applications etc. (Compatible sprays and fertilizers may be mixed with Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer)

SPRAY FREQUENCY:
Spray frequency is dependent on plant species, ages of the plant, growing conditions etc. and varies from every 7 days to once every two months.

SPRAY QUANTITY:
Also varies depending on plant species, age of the plant and growing conditions. As a general guide 4-7 ml Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer & 10 ml CARBO-AID, and 1 ml Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant per litre of water should be used. The role of Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant is to maximise the efficiency of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer. It reduces spray drift, improves spray coverage on the target surface, reduces rapid transpiration from the leaves and hence improves uptake of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer into the plant system. Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant reduces plant sensitivity to ultraviolet light and contains vitamins A, D and E, which are utilised by soil organisms.

The combination of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer and Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant in the recommended proportions completes the vitamin requirements of soil and plants.

SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS FOR THE USE OF PROFERT FORTIFIED PROTEIN FERTILIZER IN CONJUNCTION WITH EXISTING MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

NOTE 1

The following recommendations are universally applicable to all plants and soils and effective in conjunction with your present fertilizer management program.

Grow Green suggests that before and/or during the application program with Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer, plant and soil analysis (although not essential) is a good idea and can be extremely beneficial.

Plant and soil analysis will assist in calculating the level of nutrients to be added. With the use of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer experience has shown that the rate of application of inorganic fertilizer may be reduced by up to 40 per cent. A general rule in foliar application is to add 2 to 3 Litres of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer per hectare to your existing spray program to maximise plant benefit.

Where analysis shows that additional nutrients are required, increase the standard dosage of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer by up to 30 per cent:

Foliar application: Increase from 4 to 9 ml of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer per litre of water.
Soil application: Experience has shown that rates as high as 60 L per hectare of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer mixed with one litre of Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant can be used where the soil is low in humus and/or carbon content, applied through the irrigation system.
Where there is a burden from fungal disease, pest or insect attack on any crops an additional application within 5-7 days of the last application of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer will contribute to the vigour of the plant and help combat any such attack.
For optimum results, use CARBO-AID 10ml mixed with PROFERT FORTIFIED PROTEIN FERTILIZER and XTEND PLANT OIL ADJUVANT (see the application rate for either foliar or soil application). CARBO-AID should be used 2.5 L per hectare.

For best results in all cases, apply in the late afternoon.

Avoid spraying/applying in conditions where humidity and temperature are high.

Beans peas, peanuts, cucurbits (melons, cucumbers, zucchinis, rock melons, and pumpkin) strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, ginger and other vegetables or fruit vegetables, roses, carnations, lawns, shrubs, ornamentals and fruit trees:

Add and mix 5 ml profert, 1 ml Xtend Plant Oil Adjuvant and 10 ml Carbo-Aid per litre of water.
Initial application at two leaf stage and continue to the end of last harvest. Modify your usual fertilizer management according to the performance of the plants. See Note 1 (page 1).

COMPATIBILITY
Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer may be mixed with most commonly used horticultural, agricultural and garden sprays. In order to be on the safe side, always check the pesticide or other spray labels for compatibility with foliar fertilizers and test the mixture on a small area before widespread application.

The colour and odour of Profert Fortified Protein Fertilizer may vary depending on the type of fish and other marine by products used for processing but the levels of nutrients and other additives remain the same.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
SHAKE CONTAINER BEFORE USE.

Half fill the spray container with water.
Measure recommended quantities of Profert, Xtend and CARBO-AID, and then mix together.
Add the premix to the half filled spray container.
Top up the spray container with water to the required volume.

NOTE: If you are using fine spray equipment or trickle irrigation, add water 3-5 times the volume of the above premix as in Step 2, then dilute the mixture with water to the prescribed volume and pass it through a fabric filter beforehand.
