Soil Reviva™ minimises leaching

Soil Reviva™ is a holistic nutrient storage and delivery system. The sources of nutrients can be a fusion of natural and conventional. Nutrients are “stored” in a mineral system that has high CEC, promotes growth of soil microbia and mimics the functionality of soil humus.

SGS certified leach tests confirm that Soil Reviva™ retains Nitrogen after several washes with water (Urea is fully dissolved in the first wash). By design, sufficient N is released in the first instance to grow the seedling. The subsequent releases help to support the plant’s development, however, over 70% of the N is retained and delivered to the plant on demand.

The mineral substrate in Soil Reviva™ serves to provide a habitat for soil microbes. The complex mix of microbes (bacteria and fungi) in the Soil Reviva™ formulation are essential to how Soil Reviva™ functions; without the microbial activation, the plant would not be able to get access to all the nutrients in Soil Reviva™.

The mineral substrate in Soil Reviva™ has similar properties to Soil Organic Carbon in that it has high CEC that helps hold microbially produced nutrients, helps to retain water and improves soil structure to promote good aeration (which in turn encourages beneficial microbes and discourages pathogens). The reduced dependence on soil humus encourages the growing plant to source and transport more Carbon from the air to the root system building the soil organic matter.

Soil Reviva™ has a built-in microbial system with a complex selection of beneficial bacteria and fungi, that serve to inoculate the soil biological system: it’s like Yakult® for the soil and results in additional nutrient metabolisation from the air and locked up nutrients in the soil.
